Urban Assassineria

Wanted to try the all’assassina after watching Stanley Tucci.. Urban L’Assassineria did not disappoint! Thank you for the warmest welcome, amazing service and incredible quality of food!

The restaurant opened at 7:30pm. We arrived 5 min before opening and there were 3 groups behind me. The server was attentive, friendly and explained the recommendation. The food was delicious!! We ordered the classic assassineria pasta and pork tacos. Highly recommend if you're visiting Bari!

Cool hip place to get fantastic spaghetti assassin! It's not for everyone but it definitely has an unusual but good flavor. We had both the traditional red sauce and the yellow tomato sauce. The yellow was sweeter but just as good as the original. The staff is very friendly with very good service

The restaurant gave us for the beginning of our experience a nice appetizer - colourful and very tasty cheesy little thing. I ordered the puttanesca spaghetti, which turned out as a really nice salty experience, the burned pasta was just so soft and a little crunchy which made it so fabulous. And for the dessert a mousse from olive oil and pistachios - very nice. Only one minus - waiters were kinda too pushy with grabbing our plates every possible moment when we might finished something, which I don’t find attractive, made the meal hasty, but besides that they were very nice to us and concerned about everyone satisfaction.

Spaghetti all'assassina (assassin's spaghetti) is a Bari specialty and you’re remiss if you visit and don’t enjoy this signature dish. As simple as the dish appears, the texture of the bruciati (burnt) bits and the subtly spicy flavor was exceptional. Our experience at Urban Assassineria is one we will not soon forget!
