GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.!!! The fried seafood was terrible. We left almost the entire bowl untouched. I ate a small squid that tasted so bad I spit it out immediately. The piece of octopus tasted very fishy, as if it was not fresh. I ate one small shrimp after removing the head. It tasted overcooked. My wife could not eat any of the dish. The service was friendly but the waitress did not notice the food was left untouched.???. I suspect she did not respond because of the attitude of the owner who responds to criticism with sarcasm. The tuna was delicious. Perfectly seared and the inside raw as expected. Too bad the rest of the seafood was so bad. Owner: please don’t bother responding as I won’t read it.
We came into this place searching just a simple see food, but they impressed us with the food, we ordered the starters of 6 plates for 2 persons and it was amazing, a bit of everything before the main plate, also the waitress, they were really kind, I fully recommend this place
Great selection and everything was absolutely delicious. The menu offers a variety of well-prepared dishes, and the quality really stands out. It’s especially pleasant to sit on the terrace during the warmer months — a lovely atmosphere to enjoy your meal. And in case of a breeze, they have heaters outside, which makes it comfortable even on cooler evenings. One of the top spots in Monopoli — highly recommended!
Very nice restaurant in front of the Castle. Perfect stop during the walk downtown Monopoli. We ordered an appetizer of various bruschette and their seafood soup and we were very pleased with everything. We went on a Sunday for lunch around noon and it was empty but by the time we left around 1pm it was packed. Service was good, very accommodating and quick. It was a bit cold inside when the place was empty but it felt warmer by the time it got busier.
For a few days, I had been eyeing this restaurant, but there were never any free tables. Finally, a spot opened up! We ordered mussels as a starter, and they were excellently prepared (just slightly too salty). The fish pouch and tortellini... absolutely incredible. The taste of those tortellini will stay with me for a long time – one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. The fish was really delicate and the taste was on point. As for desserts, they were also great – the tiramisu and pistachio cheesecake were perfect. The service was excellent; the ladies were very kind and checked in with us to make sure everything was okay. During our visit, we were surprised by a sudden rain shower. The staff really rose to the occasion – they invited us inside and made sure to bring in our food and drinks from the outdoor tables. It was definitely worth waiting those few days. The prices are not that high for what kind of art you can order. We highly recommend stopping by and trying these delicious dishes!
